Purpose
The purpose of the award is to recognize and celebrate the achievements of women who have made significant contributions to their communities, professions, and society as a whole. By highlighting the accomplishments of these women, the Aldaa Foundation aims to inspire and empower others to achieve their own goals and create positive change in their communities.
About Aldaa Foundation
Our Mission and Impact
The Aldaa Foundation, founded in 2016, is committed to empowering women and raising awareness about women's health. Through 700 workshops on menstrual hygiene, we have reached over 90,000 women. Additionally, our cervical cancer awareness campaigns have provided free Pap smear tests to more than 500 women since December 2024.
About the Award
The 'Women of Excellence' Award is an annual award that recognizes the achievements of women who have made significant contributions to their communities.
Each year, the Aldaa Foundation will select one recipient to receive the award, which comes with a Certificate and public recognition of the recipient's accomplishments.
Nominations for the award are open to any woman who is a resident of Uttarakhand or Uttar Pradesh and has made a significant contribution in any field, including healthcare, education, environment, social justice, and more.
The award ceremony will be held annually in conjunction with International Women's Day celebrations.
During the ceremony, the recipient of the award will be honored for their contributions and accomplishments, and will have the opportunity to share their insights and experiences with others in attendance.
The 'Women of Excellence' Award is an important part of our commitment to empowering and uplifting women in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. By recognizing the accomplishments of women who have made a difference in their communities, we hope to inspire others to pursue their own goals and make positive change in their own lives and the lives of others. We encourage all eligible women to apply for this award and share their stories of impact and achievement.
There is a minimal nomination fee of Rs. 1200
To nominate a woman for the 'Women of Excellence' Award, please review the eligibility criteria and complete the nomination form. We encourage nominations from industry leaders, experts, academics, and the general public.
Once the nominations are received, our selection committee will evaluate them based on the award criteria and select the winners. The winners will be notified and honored at the 'Women of Excellence' Award ceremony.

Criteria
The 'Women of Excellence' Award is open to women from all walks of life, including business, arts, science, technology, social work, and more. We believe that by recognizing the achievements of women, we can inspire future generations and promote gender equality.
IMPACT
The nominee should have made a significant impact in their community or profession through their work, advocacy, or leadership. This could include improving access to education, healthcare, or other basic services; advocating for social justice or human rights; or promoting environmental sustainability.
LEADERSHIP
The nominee should have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, such as the ability to inspire and motivate others, build effective teams, and achieve goals. This could include serving as a mentor or role model for others in their profession or community.
ETHICS & INTEGRITY
The nominee should have demonstrated a commitment to ethical and responsible behavior in their personal and professional lives, and have a reputation for integrity and honesty.
INNOVATION
The nominee should have demonstrated creativity and innovation in their approach to solving problems or addressing challenges. This could include developing new technologies, processes, or policies that have had a positive impact on their community or profession.
DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
The nominee should have demonstrated a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion, and creating opportunities for individuals from underrepresented groups. This could include advocating for equal access to education or employment opportunities, or promoting cultural understanding and awareness.
