On the 7th and 8th of January 2024, Aldaa Foundation, in collaboration with AI-NCDC Dehradun, organized a one-day workshop for women's health and employment for the farmers' production organization Swarna Organic Basmati in Sahaspur and Vikas Nagar.
More than 200 women participated in the workshop, where they were enlightened about menstrual hygiene and cervical cancer. Additionally, plans related to employment were discussed. Aldaa Foundation installed vending machines for sanitary pads for the FPO to ensure that all women could access sanitary pads at reasonable prices and explore new employment opportunities.
In the workshop, sanitary pads were distributed to women, and Aldaa Foundation's President, Dr. Pooja, and Anima Ji, along with Gulista, were present. Dr. Atul and Shaiysta Parveen from IA-NCDC, as well as Prabha Ji, Rajeshwari Ji, Mahesh Ji, and other executive members from FPO, were also present.
